December

early winter

Few crowds and potentially great snow  conditions. Check weather forecast & snow conditions. A good time to get some runs under the belt.

January,  February,  March

W I N T E R

Stowe's prime time - great for all winter activities. March is usually much warmer (and more sun) than Jan & Feb. Feb is most consistent on the snow front.

April

Spring (MUD)

Can be amazing; warm temps, lots of sun and plenty of soft snow (big bumps!). Kayaking is also good (for experts only). Spring is in the air! (and the back roads can be mu-u-dy!)

SPA SEASON (MUD)

A beautiful time of year - definitely the 'off' season. A good time to get to know the locals. Check-out Beckwith CONCIERGE's Spa Season Specials that combine exercise and reward - a good way to get in beach-shape for the summer.

June

early summer

'Undiscovered summer' - hike, bike, run and golf with NO crowds. Few bugs, cool evenings and easy-living, no-stress nights!

July,  August

S U M M E R

Stowe's peak summer months! Activities abound - check out  gostowe.com  for an activities calendar.

September, October ->15

 late summer  /  Foliage

The leaves are notoriously difficult to time right. Best strategy is to take two weeks (last week in Sept & 1st week in Oct), use Stowe as your base, rent a sporty convertible and take road-trips north & south depending on where the peak leaves are.

October 15->, November

SPA SEASON (STICK)

An interesting time of year - most of the locals are in the woods chasing deer, the leaves are gone, it is cold and there is no snow. Better to check out Beckwith CONCIERGE's Spa Season Specials that combine exercise and reward - a good way to get in shape for the coming epic winter!
